We are hiring

The EU wallet is moving from slides to production. We write the TypeScript, the APIs, and the docs that make that transition less painful for everyone else.

You ship, you read specs when they matter, and you push back when something in OpenID or VC land does not match reality.

Working here

Authbound is a B2B product company: teams plug in EU Digital Identity Wallet flows and verification without rebuilding the whole stack themselves. We sit between specs and shipping: OpenID4VP-style flows, verifiable credentials, SDKs, and the operational glue that still has to work when a risk team is in the loop.

Day to day you design and build those flows, own slices of our TypeScript monorepo, help customers integrate, and improve what runs in the cloud. We read RFCs and ecosystem changes, then decide what to adopt and when. Pay, flexibility, and stack details are worth a real conversation on a call.

Who we want

  • You have shipped web software in production and know how it fails
  • You communicate when blocked; you do not vanish for two weeks
  • Strong TypeScript; Next.js and Node are our main surfaces
  • Docker and CI are things you have used for real work
  • Tests are part of how you think, not an afterthought
  • English for work; German or another EU language helps with partners
  • EU-friendly mindset: you can work with policy and legal constraints instead of ignoring them
  • For some roles, practical eIDAS legal understanding is a strong plus
  • Bonus: VCs, eIDAS, OpenID VCI/VP, or wallet pilots (interest counts)

We prefer hybrid collaboration, but remote can be possible for the right candidate and role setup. You still need to be legally able to work where we need you. We sort the specifics once we talk.
