This page explains how to request deletion of your Authbound Wallet closed alpha account and associated data. It exists so users can find a deletion path both inside the app and on the public web.
If you can still access the wallet app, open Settings > Privacy & Data and choose Delete account. That is the fastest and preferred path because it ties the request to your authenticated account directly.
If you no longer have app access, email [email protected] with the subject line Authbound Wallet account deletion and include the email address associated with your wallet account. We may ask for additional verification before acting on the request.
We use a 30-day grace period. After a valid deletion request, we schedule deletion and lock normal app access. During the grace period, you may cancel the request to restore normal access if you still have app access. When the grace period ends, the request enters processing and can no longer be canceled.
When the grace period ends, we delete or irreversibly remove the account profile and user-owned mobile-wallet data associated with it, including linked devices, wallet activation state, wallet-encryption records, signing files stored by the mobile wallet backend, credits, identifiers, legal-acceptance records, and related service data.
Some narrowly scoped records may be kept longer when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal defence, or compliance. We limit that retention to what is required for those purposes.
Deletion requests are handled subject to our Authbound Wallet Alpha Terms and our Privacy Policy. For website-only use, see our Terms of Service.
